from Minnesotta, North Carolina (via Rome), Rhode Island, California, Virginia, North Yorkshire, Tipperary (Ireland), New Zealand, Brixton (S London)–for the two cooking workshops.
Not quite back-to-back! We’ll be trying that out in September and October. This time we took a few days to fly to Florence to celebrate Brother Jack’s 60th birthday (he’s performing in a show there at Teatro del Sale).
Here’s a short photo diary of the good times we had.

late May Bravehearts with host Dominique on the right.

Mid- June Braveheatrs–looking enthused

Eager aprons waiting to be claimed

Minnesotans–togged up and ready to break eggs

Tossing the salad the Italian way–36 times!

What do we think? A touch more vinegar?

Friday morning coffee break and “food” chat

Friday morning starter–the unexpected curried apple soup

Friday supper (work-free delight)–Chez Valérie

Simone–the essential ingredient, without whom…

“Showtime” Sunday lunch–with Cecile and Polly–first time around

“Showtime” Sunday lunch–second go-around (where’s the hat?!)

Hi Robin 🙂 Your classes look great fun and I wish I could be there to savor the smells and delights of your deliscious meals. Could you make some dates for the Isle of Wight 🙂 Doug and I will just have to dream … thanks for sharing. We have enjoyed some super holidays in Italy and several times the beautiful Florence. Do you have any photos ?? Best wishes to you both.

I just love the photos of everyone working in the kitchen and the food looks terrific. Everyone looks like they are enjoying themselves.
I’m a lousy cook but I recently bought an electric skillet and I experimenting with recipes…pork chop stew sounds delightful to me to me this weekend.
Looks like everyone is having a great time, I am so jealous!
Dear Robin,
I wish I could attend your class but I must do with your cookbook. This
weekend I will be making beef stew with red wine and thinking of you and
Meridith and your peaceful French life.
The new Poldark will be airing stateside
this month. I leave you with this thought
Ross my boy, you never had to take off
your shirt!!!!! lol!!
Hi Robin, and Meredith of course. This looks amazing and I so hope we can come out to experience all of this one day. What fun. Great to see everyone enjoying themselves. Best wishes, Heidi (Worcestershire, England- I know not as impressive as some of the places listed above)
What fun you all are having and learning a lot too. The hat is wonderful. The food looks amazing. I’ll be thinking of you all when the new “Poldark” arrives this Sunday on PBS. Think we’ll have your Cauliflower-Chickpea Curry..for Sunday dinner..yum.
Viewing the photos one feels like the poor step-child viewing a party one desparately would like to attend. Looks to me like one and all had a smashing great time. Linda Theresa
Price has a very good point about the shirt, you were good at keeping your clothes on forcing your faithful fans and followers to use their imaginations. I’m blushing about what I might have been thinking a few years back…
Oh, wow. Gorgeous food and a beautiful setting — looks like SO much fun!
Deeply envious of the food, the group, the setting.
Btw, just watched the “new” Poldark. Doesn’t hold a candle to the “old” Poldark. Fine production values, as always, but none of the actors is as good as the “originals,” especially Robin and Angharad. Elizabeth too. I guess I’ll watch the remainder, but I may have to rent or buy the original to “wash my eyes out.”
Haven’t seen your appearance yet, so I’ll hang on til then.
We had a fabulous time in the kitchen with Robin.
Grahame and Wendy–you were great Bravehearts and brought so much to the party–thanks to you both!
Hi Robin, since we got back we have been cooking up a storm here in the kitchen! (you’d be proud). We miss Laurtrec and the craic! Love to all, Kath & Annette
Good to hear that Kathryn–brill! Say Hi! to Annette for me.
