Delicious Dishes–gone digital!
You can now download the cookbook to your Kindle.
In it you’ll find the recipe for this spicy delight on page 114!
(Haven’t seen the Kindle version yet ourselves. We don’t have one. We’re wondering how well Hope James’ lovely water color sketches come through….)
Here’s the link to the digital version: http://tinyurl.com/DeliciousDishes/.
Meredith Robin just got the download from Amazon onto the kindle,It’s great, though Hope’s beautiful pictures are not in colour, you still need the book to really see them in their full glory, but you can see what they are, still very detailed and lovely pictures.
I know there is nothing quite like holding a paper book in your hand, but the kindle is very handy, and light, you can take it anywhere and still have your favourite book with you-do try to get hold of one, they are very handy Jimmy bought me mine for christmas.
Thanks Elaine! What a response. Exactly what we needed to know. We’ll ask our publisher about the no colour factor.
That’s wonderful! I have the paper book already, but will definitely get it on Kindle, then I’ll be set no matter where I am 🙂
Thanks so much, Robin! It will be easier to take your cookbook along to New Zealand. Just what I need.
Please tell Meredith her bird video was a big hit at the lunch table at my step mom’s rehab center. These disabled folks were delighted–especially being able to hear all the chirping. They just don’t get many chances to see nature these days. Thank God for my iPad.
I think having color on your kindle depends on it’s vintage. Mine only has black @ white, but I thought the newest ones now have color.
Yes, that’s correct! I just downloaded the “free sample” first chapter to my laptop (using the free Kindle PC app) and the illustrations are in color. Same when I tried it on my Kindle Fire (the new color Kindle), so it does depend on device, and color is definitely available 🙂
