It IS great to be alive! Those are beautiful pictures of a very beautiful cat! I am and have been your most ardent United States fan ever since I saw you in Poldark and The Waterfall. You are a gifted actor, and I see you are also a fabulous cook.
Thank you for all that you give to the world.
Love the pics of Midnight. Have 3 cats and two small dogs myself here in Park City, Utah, USA. I still watch Poldark series on DVD. A true classic. My being a screenwriter I hope one day to write something as good as Poldark. Doug Peake
Love that little white ruff on Midnight’s neck! (I see someone was trying to distract the little bugger!) But poor Ben! I hope he comes back in at night, or when the weather gets colder!!
Beautiful pictures of beautiful cats! Don’t forget – Robin – I’d like you to write something for my website on cats: http://www.thedailymews.com (if you’ve got time, of course!)
How wonderful to see that a fortunate little orphan has found a home and people who will love him. I have two rescue cats, both spoiled dreadfully. I enjoy your website and have both your cookbooks (I’ve sent copies to a relative who is diabetic). Thank you for all you have contributed to the world. And, yes, I’ve seen Poldark at least ten times! I just purchased The Good Soldier – you did a remarkable job there.
Seems as though the new pecking order is being established..of all our cats, the bossiest is the youngest and smallest though I sometimes think that the wiser old hands just indulge her and let her think she’s in charge ! Lovely photos as usual..
Dear Robin, I’m telling the story of Midnight and Ben to my two granddaughters aged 2 and 4 and they want to hear it again and again!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!
Midnight is clearly thriving in his new home! Our Molly is also settling in well although after working out ours must be the 5th place she has lived in her 17 months, we were careful to keep telling her that she was coming home with us again from the vets. She complained all the way there but not a murmur on the way home. She knew.
Lucky little guy! And so handsome! You must be glad he found you, even though you didn’t want another cat. I’ve two rescues myself for 5 years now. Still very timid around strangers, but happy when no one else is around. All of your cats are gorgeous. And who could ask for a better place for a cat to live and explore.
aw, I love the simple stories.
Robin & Meredith, lovely pussycats, thank you for showing xxx
Ben has a beautiful spirit! Barbara B

Thank you, Linda.
Adorable! An example of living in the moment, without a care in the world.

Nice to see that Midnight has settled in, but Ben still does come in when Midnight is not on door duty, doesn’t he?
He is not happy and dashes out when he sees the youngster.
Meredith Robin what beautiful cats and Midnight is the purr fact name for him wasn’t that the time he knocked at your door?
It was, Elaine.
Aw, that’s a shame. I hope Ben will accept Midnight eventually. x
