How special! Last March 31st, my husband and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary. I wish you and Meredith all the joy that you have had these past 22 years, a hundred fold. Isn’t love wonderful? As are strength, courage, commitment, passion, honesty, loyalty, humor…and the list goes on, for all the elements of such happiness. May you both continue to be very blessed.
I just received the latest edition of The Making of Poldark yesterday and read how you and Meridith met! Your recounting of the event was so sweet. Twenty two years later and still in love. Wonderful! All the best.
Congratulations! My husband and I will be married 20 years October 10th. It’s rewarding to look back and savor the shared accomplishments and memories.I hope that we will be as content and fulfilled as you two.
I just received yesterday the latest edition of The Making of Poldark and read how you met Meridith! Your recounting of the event was so sweet. Here it is 22 years later and still in love! Wonderful. All the best to you both.
Happy Anniversary! I loved you in Poldark so many years ago. I also have diabetes. I saw your book on amazon and put it on my wish list, not knowing it was written by you. Then I found your blog, which I love, and I realized that you had written the book. I just got it this week and it is great! Many more years of wedded bliss for you and your wife!
Happy Anniversary, Ross and Meredith! Congratulations for a life well spent. Had my husband lived a few more weeks, we would have celebrated 55 years of marriage. I’ve oftern compared marriage to eggs–Raw-togetherm, but lack real commitment; BOILED- together, but remain independant; FRIED-together, but messy; Scrambled-that was us, Two distinct personalities, yet our lives blended so well, we were really one. As I reflect on those years, I think we were more like an Omelet! We enjoyed a busy and full life! That is my prayer for you two!
You two have carved a beautiful life together and it is a pleasure to share moments of it through your blog. There is something so basic and lovely with the choices you have made. I hope the cats throw you an anniversary bash, or at least let you sleep-in one morning…..congratulations to you both….job well done. Many more healthy, happy, years together.
Dear Robin & Meredith, 22 years, just like us! Congratulations & hope you have many more happy years together! Tonight, when it’s quiet, and the cats have settled down, light some candles, get a few glasses of wine, put your feet up & enjoy…
Smashing! Congratulations, you both look so beautiful, what a great photo (both now and then — quite the hat). Lucy and I just celebrated 28 years together. The time has flown by, and yet the trail backward is so long and full.
