The Supreme Court Of America confirms the legality of the Affordable Care Act.
The American Diabetic Association just issued this statement on the Supreme Court Ruling on the Affordable Care Act.
Why was the law needed?
Under the old health care system, it was legal to deny health insurance to people with diabetes or force them to pay more for insurance coverage simply because they had diabetes.
Even for people who had insurance coverage, their plans sometimes didn’t cover the most basic diabetes needs, leaving them with large expenses in addition to the cost for insurance.
This lack of affordable access to care led many people to forgo the care they needed to prevent, delay or slow the progression of diabetes.
That meant cutting back on – or even going without – the doctor visits, insulin, medicines and test strips necessary to managing diabetes.
As a result, many people ended up suffering needlessly from diabetes complications that might have been prevented had medical care been available to them earlier.
I have diabetes. What does the ACA mean for me?
The ACA has many important provisions that impact people with diabetes, including rules about pre‐existing conditions, lifetime limits on benefits, drug costs, and programs aimed at preventing type 2 diabetes.
In 2014, insurance companies will no longer be allowed to deny coverage because a person has a pre‐existing condition such as diabetes.
Will I have to pay more for my insurance coverage because of my diabetes?
Once the ACA is fully implemented in 2014, insurers will no longer be allowed to charge higher rates because you have diabetes.
The statement goes into more detail about the effects the ruling will have in the lives of those adults and children already diagnosed with diabetes and those who are yet to find out.
There are 80 million undiagnosed diabetics in the USA and 26 million who have diagnosed.
This is an historic day for them.
It means I can afford my medications, and I don’t have to pay higher premiums as a Senior. It was of serious concern for me.
That is very good news, Lil!
SOOOOO happy!!! What a wonderful day! Was so sure it would go the other way. It’s not perfect, but it’s a start!
Hey Robin!
Thanks for this post 😀
As someone with a pre-existing condition, I am so thankful that if one day, if ever, in the distant future, I have to go out and purchase my own coverage, no insurance company can deny me! Now that’s a win-win for many out there…YES, my DH and I are getting penalized for me opting out and not taking advantage of the ins. my employer’s offering (I’m on my DH’s ins. coverage), BUT I can’t help being happy for some out there that are benefiting from this SC decision…
As Maureen put it…It ain’t the best, and it will take a few tries to perfect it, but boy we needed a start and by God we got it! When Taiwan has better health care then us,…then something is seriously wrong.
BTW I’ve been following your blog and posts and just LOVED your Zorba the Greek Vid! Oh, and I introduced my daughter to POLDARK!

Why are you commenting on this issue? Are you being told by your government what you have to buy?
I don’t want government telling me what I have to buy
There are better ways to deliver affordable health care to US citizens
Per existing conditions and allowing children to stay on their parents plans until age 26 are favored by all people- even conservatives
This is going to babkrupt the US
To : E Miller
I agree with you completely! Our US Constitution is being whittled away bit by by. We have become the frog in the pot of boiling water. The Federal Government has NEVER been so out of control and over reaching in the US as it is now. I just worked on a a congressional campaign for a briliiant gentleman, a small business owner who is so tired of what is going on that he ran for congress. This was the first time he ran and the primary oponant, who had run 3 other times and who had tons of money, beat him. However, my guy did very well for someone who ran for the first time. One of his many objectives was to repeal OBAMA CARE.
I have posted from his website below:
“The federal government has no right to mandate what any citizen should purchase. The Obamacare will also ration healthcare and control when and who gets medical care and prescriptions through an appointed Control board, IPAB, the Independent Payment Advisory Board. This board will ration healthcare based on a persons economic impact to our society”
This is also a KILLER for small business, which is the BACK BONE of America. I agree that we are in bad shape financially and having this law take effect will bankrupt us.
I certainly don’t want to see people go without healthcare. Most people in America do NOT go without health care. My nephew is young and underemployed. He is falling through the cracks and that is not right. Something does need to be done about this “falling through the cracks situation” YET, the IDIOCY lies in the fact that I am FORCED to pay for tons of illegal aliens to receive health care “for free” at hospitals (though it isn’t FREE because we the OVER BURDENED TAXPAYERS are being forced to foot the bill!) There needs to be something done for the people who are caught in the cracks through no fault of their own. Medicine is very expensive and I believe the elderly need help. But to go from one extreme to the other is ridiculous. There are other solutions!
This current Health Care MANDATE is NOT the way to go about it! I certainly don’t want the government interfering in my healthcare. The government has no business being in my life. Good grief, the thought of the government making important decisions about me makes me sick! I am a firm believer in THE CONSTITUTION and this is blatantly UNCONSTITUTIONAL! what next? We will be forced to buy a certain car because those in power are in cahoots with a certain car manufacturer?
The United States of America is not Europe. As lovely as Europe is-WE are SUPPOSED to be guided by our Constitution. Our Founding Fathers were visionaries.
“Eternal Vigilance is the Price of LIberty” Thomas Jefferson
“We’ve given you a republic, Madam- if you can keep it!” Ben Franklin replying to a lady on the street who asked him “Mr. Frankling what sort of government have you given us?”
This is my country and I am trying hard to “keep it.”
Thanks for posting this information. There are some Americans who don’t seem to understand what the Affordable Care Act means for lots of people. I am going to share your post with my friends.
I work in a large hospital in Maryland. When diabetics with no insurance are being discharged the hospital pays for a 30 day supply of strips, needles etc and insulin. The patients are on their own after that. They can apply for a state program in Maryland that will take about 60 days to kick in if you are eligible.
E. Miller…I understand your point but people with no health insurance are already bankrupting the country. ann de saram
Hi Ann! I live in Maryland also. As I am sure you know- We are an illegal alien sanctuary state and that is helping to keep Maryland in the defecit. I am an activist and I can tell you that I know many, many things involving corruption and shenangans that goes on under the woodwork- that our complicit media will never get out to the people
I agree that we need to get help to people who need it. Those poor diabetics should not have to wait 60 days for help after they are discharged! We need to clean up the system. It is just the way we go about it. And We need to get rid of the illegal aliens who are not paying taxes and overburdening our programs. Maryland is one of the highest taxed states and people are leaving here in droves.
Also, please forgive typos- misspellings in previous post- typing too fast!!!! I
It is my understanding that only a few will benefit by this national health care. However, it will benefit insurance companies tremendously. Small and medium size businesses will be forced out of business. (Small businesses are the
backbone of the U.S. economy.) If people lose their jobs and pay no taxes, where will the money come from to pay for the health care? The United States is more than $15 Trillion in debt and the debt continues to rise exponentially minute by minute. Eventually we will implode. Then what? Linda
Robin, many conservative groups in America, lead their followers to believe this is a bad thing for our country. They do not understand how difficult it is for the uninsured, and if one has any medical condition, like diabetes, it is almost impossible to get insurance as an individual. This new health plan, is very misunderstood, and often small parts are demonized, as in the case of children who are up to age 26, being allowed to stay on their parents plan. Often young people are still in college, or working at menial jobs that do not give insurance to their workers.
We require people who drive, to have car insurance. To get a mortgage on a home, the bank requires one to have house insurance. This is an economic necessity. It takes many people paying in, all doing their part, to make the thing work. The same holds true for health insurance…..we all must do our part.
I know a young woman who has MS and cannot get insurance, so she suffers from lack of medical attention. This is wrong….we need to realize no one should suffer due to lack of medical attention or because a pre-existing medical condition makes insurance companies feel justified in turning down the right to be covered. I think we took a step in the right direction today. Thank you Supreme Court.
E Miller, if you’re afraid the US will be bankrupt by trying to improve the health care system, do us a favor and leave it.
Hi Judy H! I agree that people with pre conditions, such as your friend with MS not getting proper health care is terrible. It breaks my heart. This is one of the “falling through the cracks” situations that I was addressing. I also believe there should be tort reform to stop over the top malpractice suits. There are other ways for us to have health care reform, this Bill, the way it was shoved down our throats, the deals that were cut, etc….it really is a sordid mess and isn’t sitting well with many of us!.
You make a reference to “driving a car and having to have insurance.” That is not the same thing. We make a choice to purchase a car- we know we must have insurance. No one is FORCING us to buy cars.
I am with the MAJORITY of Americans who believe OBAMA care should be repealed because It is UNCONSTITUTIONAL! No where in the Constitution does it say that we should be FORCED to purchase anything! This opens a whole can of worms and takes us on a very slippery slope. And- I do NOT want the government to have access to my medical records! So now Justice Roberts decided that we could call it a “tax?” This is a a total reversal from what Obama was spouting at the beginning – “this is not a tax” He is on record saying this! We are also being lied to! And here’s the clincher- many groups have been allowed to be EXEMPT from this! If it’s so great how come Congress got out of it?
As I have mentioned, I am involved with activists and I work with a lot of politicians. I watched as many of my colleagues waged protests when this bill was first shoved down our throats. Nancy Pelosi “We’ll find out what’s in the bill when we pass it.” Good GOD! (rolling eyes) This is a mess and I have a feeling that most American’s will not tolerate this particular Bill and that it will be repealed. Let’s try and work out another compromise.
I, like most Americans want as little Government in my life as possible. And, nothing is FREE – we pay the taxes. The middle class schlubs who trudge to work every day are tired and strapped financially- (the ones who are lucky enough to have jobs, that is!) I am one of them and I am hurting! I have friends who have small businesses who are barely staying afloat. The economy is in horrible shape and this is really the wrong time to pass something like this. This will be the BIGGEST tax heist in our country.
Again, this is Unconstitutional. That is what it boils down to. There are other ways to get help to the people who need it.
This isn’t “done” yet. Not by a long shot.
It is a fact that the United States lags behind other developed countries in
infant mortality, children’s health care, senior care, and, many other measures of health care.
Most of the people in the US who have good health plans are lucky enough to have those through their employers. People fear leaving jobs because they fear they will not be able to get health insurance. People lose jobs, and do have no health insurance, and with pre-existing conditions they might not have been able to get insurance.
When people do not get proper preventative health care or treatment, especially for serious chronic conditions, and diabetes is one, they end up in hospital emergency rooms, or admitted to hospitals, when they are already seriously ill, and that ends up costing all American taxpayers more money.
The rhetoric that arose in the 1930s against the new Social Security program, is a dead ringer for today’s rhetoric–that it was Socialism, that people should take care of themselves sink or swim, that it was the government telling people how to take care of their elderly. Sometimes we need a federal government to push us, kicking and screaming, into the future.
In the US we are already all paying for the results of inadequate health care. Now we can as taxpayers pay for better health care. Most states require auto insurance. Those without children are still required to pay for schools. We are required to pay for Social Security. We are required to do and pay for a lot of things we sometimes feel we shouldn’t have to pay for. It’s part of being a citizen. The new health care laws are still not perfect. It’s a very very complicated problem, but rather than being entrenched in the past which wasn’t working for many many people, we have to start somewhere to fix it, and this is where it starts.
We won’t know the fallout from this bill for several years to come. The resulting high costs and damage to small businesses will pill up and become evident to the people in due time. There are other ways to cover people who have chronic diseases than this way. European countries with this kind of health care are all in the red with the exception of Germany, Statistics on cancer, for one, are horrendous in many countries. We stand alone in our quest to erase various life threatening illnesses from the face of the earth. Heaven help us! Lyn in New Jersey
I am concerned about what people have said on this blog about illegal aliens. America was made great by immigrants. They came in a long time ago mostly through Ellis Island (I believe) so now that America has met it’s “quota” of immigrants we call them illegal aliens. Think..if you were desperate to leave a country with severe poverty (worse then American believe me!!)..where there are abuses of civil rights, where there is a war going on…where would you go in desperation for your families and your children? Where is the nearest “safe” country with opportunity? People from central American pay human sumglers (sorry for wrong spelling) to get to America but sometimes are left in the desert by these same sumglers to die. Other people from South America walk into the US from El Salvador and other central American countries. Yes, Walk!! How desperate some one has to be to walk into another country!! If I was in South America and needed to escape then I would make my way to the US. If you are in Haiti then you take a boat to the US…and hope you and your family don’t drown on the way over!!! I don’t have the answer for how we manage the financial burden of their health care and schooling but we need to take a different focus on how to manage this problem without shutting people out of America.
I don’t think the American economy can survive at this point without illegal aliens because they take the jobs that “Americans” do not want to do or will not do for such low pay… even under the table pay!! Our expenses for produce and other items will go up if we ban the illegal aliens from hire so there will be strong repercussion for our economy if they leave.
Judy Heilich I agree with you about the Obama health plan. The medical bill for the uninsured who do not qualify for state aid to pay the bill is past on to those of us who have health insurance. For example, hospitals in the US legally are not supposed to turn away any one without insurance from their emergency room. We all pay for the uninsured being admitted to hospitals because the hospitals have to raise their rates of inpatient care and outpatient care to cover their loss…so the insurance companies then raise the rates WE pay with higher insurance premiums. Just room and board at a world famous hospital in Baltimore is $2,000 a day.
People who have serious health problems and do not qualify for state aid will be turned away for diagnostic tests and treatment i.e cancer They will have to pay out of pocket for treatment…and run the risk of losing their house, car etc. this adds another burden on the American economic system…
Anyway, I don’t know what the financial solution is related to taxes.
The national health care system in England and Canada certainly have their problems but English friend of mine working in the US returned to England because she was afraid that if she was laid off from her job in the US then she would not have health insurance. She was unemployed for a while when she returned to England. It was found that she had breast cancer. She paid nothing for the treatment or medication she received.
I Certainly, I don’t want to pay higher taxes but if I were in the same desperate situation as the uninsured I would want to know that I could receive medical care and not be turned away from treatment.
Sorry this is so long. I am glad that we can all express our opinion on this blog. Robin, you got a good discussion going!!. (LOL)
Ms Beau
You are so naive – by the way, what an unkind comment to make to someone you don’t agree with. Can’t you make a civil argument?
E Miller – I do believe it was you who made the following comment on Robin’s blog: “Why are you commenting on this issue? Are you being told by your government what you have to buy?” I find that to be rude. It’s Robin’s blog. He can comment on anything he likes. We’re fortunate that he allows us to post responses at all.
For those who assert the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional, our Supreme Court just ruled otherwise. Chief Justice Roberts has stated the Court’s job was not analyze whether the law constitutes “sound policy”, but rather whether the law was consistent with the United States Constitution.
For those concerned about illegal aliens, socialism and healthcare bankrupting America (does anyone remember that prior to the Bush administration we had a surplus), you have another day in November to voice your opinion. The same Constitution which provides for the Supreme Court to adjudicate and not legislate also gives the people the opportunity to vote for the candidate who represents their interests.
I am sorry if I offended anyone on the blog. That was not my intention. E. Miller you are responding the same way you perceived I was responding. Peace to everyone.

WOW! are you naive Ann! I am an anti illegal alien activist. I certainly can educate you but it would take too long. I will give you a few points, however:
America was once a new country- wide open and needed workers. My GG grandfather from Ireland (as an example- my story is pretty typical) came here for work because they needed workers to build rail roads. He came here legally (as all of my gg grandparents and my grandfather from Hungary did in 1912) and had this gg grandfather from Ireland to compete with freed slaves for ditch digging jobs. These people never got any sort of public assistance and were too proud to do so if it had existed. They relied on sponsors, family, friends and churches. They were also checked for diseases (if they came throug Ellis Island-which didn’t exist until the later part of the 19th century- OR the second largest port- Locust Point in Baltimore- where some of my ancestors came) My G grandmother, from Hungary was sent back to Europe because she was pregnant. My ggrandfather and uncles came here seperately and sponsored each other. They all had jobs WAITING for them
Fast forward to 2012 when we have ILLEGAL ALIENS who (not all- some come for a better life)who are mainly interested in MAKING BIG BUCKS and brag about sending the money back home to their third world countries where the buck go a long way.
Maryland is one of several sanctuary states where illegal aliens have more rights than the tax paying citizen. I have a real problem with that. I could tell you so many stories that I have learned about while being an activist. Just a few quick ones:
.I have construction worker friends who cannot find work…it goes to the illegal aliens because they UNDERCUT the American workers wages..and, these illegal aliens all work under the table. They also make pretty good money- like 15 dollars an hour for drywall. That money goes a long way when you don’t have to pay any TAXES – other than sales tax. I also have a good friend who was almost killed- she had to be cut out of her car. She was left disabled with hearing loss, and severe nerve damage. The illegal alien who hit her was drunk- and he had no insurance. He was summonsed to court and flew the coop! She was left to pay for everything.
Again there is too much to write- but some of us just uncovered a story of a lady named Paulette Faulkner. She was a benefits authorizer for the State of Maryland in child support. She was told by her supervisor, from El Salvador, that she had to authorize foodstamps and other welfare benefits to illegal aliens with NO ID, and phoney CASA de Maryland ID cards (CASA de Maryland is the illegal aliens ACORN and runs the State of MD and now has deep tenticles in DC- they are connected to many unsavory people such as Hugo Chavez) Ms. Faulkner had scruples and knew that by doing this she was breaking the law. She was FIRED, not allowed to get unemployment, had to declare bankruptcy and lost her house. She is a single mother. This took place a few years ago and I am sure that the fraud is continuing. We got her some press coverage and an interview on a radio show. She now has a lawyer as the result of this.
Maryland is CONSTANTLY in the red. Our pitiful excuse of a governor has to hold special sessions in the General Assembly every year in order to suck more taxes out of us. The illegal alien’s are costing us billions of dollars. The deficit pretty much reflects the money spent on illegal alien’s health care and entitlement benefits. They overrun hospital emergency rooms for things like head colds and they don’t have to pay a dime! When I was wheeled into GBMC a couple of years ago for a severe knee problem- they hounded me for all of my ID- SSN, license, address, phone, insurance..etc.
Don’t look for any of this in the local news rags or the bought and paid for media. It is only uncovered by people like me. The Governor wants to hide all of this because he has ambitions to be your next president. He needs the illegal aliens votes. And we know they ARE VOTING. They have been found on jury pools and with CASA de MD voting ID cards on their persons when they are arrested.
I have a real problem with illegal alien foreign nationals voting in my country when people have died and been maimed for my right to vote! You should too! They are nullifying our votes.
Don’t try shouting “racism” because I work with LEGAL naturalized citizens who are from South America, Pakistan, etc. And they are FURIOUS as they should be.

Judy, when you describe the problems Maryland is having, it sounds like California. The illegal Mexicans get the jobs, the social services, the tax credits from the Feds, free education and medical, and they have taken over the parks and malls. Yet they are still whining and complaining. Further, they trash neighborhoods. If they would move into an area and improve it, or at least maintain it, we who were born and raised in California would not be complaining. However, they don’t. They are taught by groups like La RAZA, that have chapters in our public schools, to hate white people and America in general. The “anchor babies” are the worst. They don’t appreciate any of the benefits they receive, nor do they respect the U.S. They just take, take, take and trash everything. Nothing is ever enough. I’m totally disgusted with them and I cannot understand why the majority of Latinos who are U.S. citizens continue to support them. If things continue, we will become another Mexico. Linda
Judy, please….this is not the place to start a vitriolic exchange of diametrically opposed political philosopies. I am delighted every time a post from Robin appears in my mailbox, because it is going to be fey, charming, and informative. This blog is most concerned with the subject of diabetes and there is no arguing that the Supreme Court’s ruling was great news for people (like my husband) dealing with that diagnosis. The world is real enough and you make some valid points. There are places enough for such discussions, but this isn’t one of them. (Do I hear an “AMEN!”)
whoops! I have a double post. I put this into my email spellcheck.(because I can’t spell a hoot) and copied and pasted. Sorry. It should end with
“And they are furious as they should be” Sorry and thanks!

I thought this Dude said it best. However, please note that a lot of us that are for it, still think there’s room for improvement, President included, and there’s time TO do that now that some of the hurdle is being cleared out.
But you know, I always come to the question of What would Jesus do [and I’m really not that religious, btw!] and I’m thinking he would like us to take care of ‘that poor soul’ that needs it the most…other than that, I have no opinion on the matter..LOL!
Robin, I think it is time for another delicious recipy on your blog or another glimpse of your life in France. This was a lively and interesting discussion!! Hot topics.
oops, I should never have gone back and read the responses to my blog. I have to chime in again. I am a legal “alien” originally from southeast asia. I doubt my blog indicated that I was calling any one racist..but I apologize again..Robin where is your new recipy!! Put a rush on it (LOL)

I would appreciate it if you would emali me on: trixie1120@gmail.com

WOW! that was some “eye opener”! But it hardly had anything to do with Diabetes. The illegal immigrants from South America are crossing the hot desert sands to reach USA. To reach Australia the illegal immigrants from South East Asia and beyond are crossing the nearly always “angry” Indian Ocean in overcrowded unseaworthy wooden boats. There were recent boating tragedies. These human trafficking boats are unstoppable. It needs the wisdom of King Solomon to solve this universal problem…
A little late piping in…and Chris, Ann de Saram, & Elaine from NY already made some excellent points. But finger-pointing at a few people who might take advantage of the law is a lame excuse for dumping something that will benefit many. (There are plenty of home-grown lazy people as well as lazy immigrants, lazy white, black, and purple people who will try to take advantage of a situation!) As Judy said, MANY people paying in will lower the cost & make it work. That’s basic Economics 101.
But the fact of the matter remains that the US Congress in BOTH the House & the Senate passed the Health Care bill. It was signed by the Chief Executive of the US, our PRESIDENT, and upheld by the majority of the US SUPREME Court as a “CONSTITUTIONAL law of the land.” Furthermore, it was modeled after the Massachusetts Health Care law that was supported & signed by the Chief Executive of the State, MITT ROMNEY–the then-liberal/now conservative (!) governor of Massachusetts.
It’s now the law of the land–let’s move on!
PS: I betcha the forward-thinking Ross POLDARK would’ve supported it! 🙂
Hi, Diane,
The congress may have passed the health care bill, but that does not mean it is a good thing. Remember when Nancy Pelosi declared, “Pass the bill and then you can see what is in it!” So those fools passed it. They did not want to bother reading 2400 pages. It was easier to just pass it, even though they found out later that it will bankrupt America. They don’t have to worry. They will get their health care, pensions, and perks for life.
For those of you who are interested in learning what this bill is actually all about, including the costs, please go to http://www.healthreformquestions.com.
Linda
apologies if this posting comes up twice–I’ve had trouble with my log in.
Regarding the comment just above: “learning what this bill is actually all about…” will not come objectively from the link provided which goes to a group called “Coalition to Repeal.” To be fair, the objectivity, and a careful analysis, will have to come from a non-partisan group, and it it surely will. However, using extreme comments like “it will bankrupt America” is as silly as implications from the other side that opposition to the bill means you hate people who are ill. Let’s move away from the extreme. If the new health care bill needs fixing, then let’s improve it. Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid and immigration policies are far from perfect either, but we need analysis and reasonable discourse, not entrenchment in extreme ideas on either side.
Elaine, the phrase “it will bankrupt America” is a common phrase used when one wants to emphasize the fact that we cannot afford something. The implication was that we taxpayers cannot afford this health care bill. There are more efficient and more cost effective ways to help those with diabetes and other ailments. Actually, if you want to get technical, America is already bankrupt, in case you haven’t noticed. That statement is true. Nothing silly about it. No doubt you will take issue with that statement also.
Yes, I do take issue, but will keep further comments to myself. I’m sorry you are so angry. Peace.
I’m not angry; nor do I have my head stuck in the sand. Linda
This is my last comment on this issue. I am sure most of you will be thrilled.
First of all, I am grateful that the commnents were not censored. You all must agree that such an email- at this time -was bound to be explosive!
ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION HAS EVERYTHING to do with this issue. They are very much intertwined. Until you have lived in a state that is an illegal alien sanctuary and witnessed and FELT the impact you have no argument that it is a good thing. My heart goes out to the legal naturalized citizens who chose to do the right thing and adhere to the rule of law. These illegal aliens are allowed to come in because it is causing chaos, they are being used as ‘useful idioits’ (look the phrase up) and WETR THE PEOPLE are having our rights taken away day by day. Please stop following the bought and paid for media. Do your own homework. I will admit that isn’t easy and takes time. Don’t take the “Kardasian news version”
There will soon be NO one who will be able to pay into the system. We will only have those who want to suck off of it. We already are split down the middle and quite frankly I am tired of being forced to give money to people who think they are entitled to it. I want to give my hard earned money to help animals, veterans, the elderly, the people who need medical help who are “working poor” , caught in the cracks, the people who have become disabled, etc. I don’t want the goverment picking my pocket and telling me what I must do with my taxes. Remember a big war was started over that almost two hundred and fifty years ago. I don’t know if those on the other side fully understand just how angry the AVERAGE (not the Elitists) Joan and Joe American really are. I DO! I know thousands of them throughout my country. Trust me they are not taking this lying down.
It is easy to come off as “above every one else” when you live in a gated community and have a lot of money. Most of us do not. Most of us are just struggling to get by. Paycheck to paycheck.I will continue my fight with the activists and politicians that I am working with. I can only do what I consider to be the best thing for MY conscience. That is to save my country and to restore THE CONSTITUTION
Unfortunately,we will have to agree to disagree my Poldark Friends!
Thanks, Judy. I appreciate your posts. The end game with the Feds is control, control, control. Linda
Wow. Really sad to see this great blog turn political. My husband suffers from diabetes and he certainly dislikes the Supreme Court’s decision. This is a very complicated issue and a true American one. Polls still show that Americans see this as the Government taking over a huge portion of our very vital private sector.
