When we heard an encouraging cheer from the hamlet up the hill–we hopped in the car and headed for Place Soult in Castres.
Toulouse were leading at half time but Castres equalized within minutes of our arrival and we thought we’d brought good luck!
Wishful thinking!
Castres Olympic 15….Toulouse 24.
Robin, which team were you rooting for? I have trouble telling which is the local favorite (favourite)!!!!
Castres–our local town–sadly!
But Dominique (cheese man) will be indomitable and insist that tomorrow is another day!
Sorry it was not Castres on the winning side, Robin,it’s something I am use to, being a Salford Reds supperter,(though they did win on Friday,) and a Wigan Reds. You see born in Salford live in Wigan Loved Merediths birdie song the tits are always a joy to watch, we have a nest in the fir tree, keeping watch that the cheeky young cat does not spot them so far so good.
