Robin, When are you coming to do a book tour?
Nothing fixed yet–book tour wise–Amy.
We hope to come to the States late January.
Hope it goes really well, Robin. Love Pauline (Kiernan)
Thanks Pauline–cross fingers!!
Thanks for the heads up! I will be ordering soon. Although I am not a diabetic, I have a pancreatic problem that restricts my fat intake. When on any kind of special diet it is very easy to get in the habit of cooking the same things, I am hoping this book will help give me some new ideas for interesting and different menus. I have appreciated the recipes on the blog too!
I hope the book helps Elizabeth and you find something different.
Already got it here in the U.S.!! Very cool… just wish I could have gotten my copy signed by the author The other night I made the Pork Chops and White Beans Baked in Orange Juice…quite yummy…the sauce from the orange juice and the pork drippings made for melt in your mouth beans. Look forward to cooking many more recipes! None of us here have diabetes, but I am trying to eat and cook healthier for us. PS. I also took my copy to Officemax (an office supply chain here) and had them cut the spine and give it a plastic spiral binding…very inexpensive…I love being able to have my cookbooks lie open and flat, it’s very handy. Good luck with sales in America!! Athena
Thanks Athena–that’s one of my favourite recipes–a one pot wonder!
Enjoy the rest!
Congratulations and I know it will be a stunning success everywhere!
Love the red, white and blue HOORAY!
best,
kathy
Thanks, Kathy–hooray indeed!
My warm congratulations Robin for USA’s launch!!!
Thanks, Beatrice.
Congrats, Robin!! I’ve been torn between wanting to buy the book in advance or waiting to buy it from whatever store you might be at in NY. Not sure if they’d like me coming with a book already; I’m sure they’d like to make the sale themself?
But you’ve kept me busy with your other recipes….The gentle lentils were great, and reminded me a bit of the pea soup we make that’s so big with us French Canadians (but they add ham). “C’est si bon!”
Gotta run–Cheers & hugs!
Herzlichen Glückwunsch, Robin !
Diabetes affect your life in many ways spontaneously comes into my mind
“Even the stones placed in one`s path can be made into something beautiful”
(Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)
Stepping stones for example…!
Congratulations on the book. Newly diagnosed myself, I am looking forward to cooking from it, everything looks delicious.
Hopefully if you do a book tour, San Francisco will be on the list.
Thanks Donna–we are hoping to visit SF in the New Year.
We’ll keep you up to date.
