Wabi Sabi asked

Marmalade about his name

which was puzzling her

Marmalade never

Thinks much about his name– more

About the next meal

But he’s a kind cat

And polite to strangers–so

He humours Wabi

“Yes my name is odd,

But to tell you the truth, I’m

Rather proud of it.

You see for me it

Evokes early morning–

The start of a new day.

That’s all I will say;

Never fully explain–that’s

The secret of life”
