The pyramid looks great. I would like to eat all these types of foods but I wonder, has anyone read Sylvia Earl’s book “The Earth is Blue”? It goes into the fact that the Ocean is pretty much fished out, the damage done by destructive fishing techniques etc. I never really thought about the Ocean and the life it supports before I read this book, it’s quite a fascinating place and supports life on Earth as much as the air or the sun do. The book is a good read, and easy for the lay person.
I’d love to eat fish but I don’t–not usually, I still might try those anchovies though.
Some blue fish–mackerel, sardines, anchovies are still plentiful I believe.
They are very reasonably priced too and are high in omega 3 oils.
