Oh dammit! I should have been in DC same time as this and would have popped in to surprise you and Meredith but plans have been rescheduled. So sorry to miss you. Another time, another place, I hope. Do you have any signings planned for London ?
Bx
Gee wish you were coming to Boston…….
Great news for your American Poldark fans. Have a great time in the States Meredith and Robin! Hopefully your weather will be more seasonal than what we are having in Canada right now particularly in Newfoundland.
Portland, Maine is nice, how about you come here???
On Facebook, I left a message that was the written equivalent of my jumping around my house screaming, “Oh my Goodness!!” I live in Northern VA, and I will be there, with books in hand. So, we’ll just find you wandering around Kramer Books?
This really is a dream come true. So glad you are coming!
Sorry we live so far away or we would be there. Hope you have a wonderful turn out. Making the delicious Cabbage dish tonight, thank you. We thought your birthday gift from Meredith was outstanding, what a treasure.

I’m sorry but I just have to say this…
EEEEEEEEEK!
Kramer Books, here I come!
Kathy, I can relate!!!!
Allyson, I love when that happens!
That shriek had been building up since 1977! I guess I will see you there!
Come to Minneapolis and St. Paul! Bookstores abound.
Wonderful! I’ll try to be there!
Meanwhile, I saw these recipes and thought of your kitchen…

Thanks Nancy.
I was hoping there might be a “NY fans” reunion from last year–that was just an incredible afternoon!! Then I saw the date. Sooooooooo bummed! My students are sharing their research reports with parents that same day!! Kinda hard to not be there… Gene reassures me when I am retired, we can drop everything & run off to things like this–perhaps next year?
Weather is foggy & warm now, but supposed to be getting colder by mid-week, so wear your scarves! And I hope you have a safe, memorable trip! Hoping Meredith has a special event of her own coinciding with your 2nd stop?
Have fun!! Keep us posted!
Cheers & hugs,
Gene & Dianne
Thanks Dianne–we’ll raise a cup of coffee to you both, Wednesday!
Had just read the article about you in Cornwall Life and it not only inspired me to start watching Poldark on Netflix, but also to seek out your book (a great pal is a type 2 diabetic and my website also features a regular section on “Eating Well.”) How great to find you’ll be in the neighborhood on the 16th. I’ll be there early in the hope of finding a copy to buy and have you autograph. And I’d be flattered if you checked out my website as well:

Tom
OK Tom–thanks-a bientot!
There is a café in Kramers–actually there are two (if memory serves). One is really a restaurant–but I’ll be in the coffee bar on the ground floor–unless it’s too packed with normal customers. If so, we’ll migrate to the cafe/restaurant….Looking forward to meeting everyone!
I don’t think I’ll/we’ll have any trouble spotting you, Captain Poldark.
A happy last but maybe just in time to wish you both a safe journey to USA and back. I’ll be there too…. in thoughts. Happy landing!
Is there any chance that you might be in North Florida at some time? I am in Tallahassee but would travel a bit to be able to meet you and get an autograph.
All I have to say is I’m so envious of those who are able to go! My best regards to you sir and I pray for your safe travel. – Terra
For Robin and Meredith– Now that your visit to the states has come and gone, and you’ve had an opportunhity to settle after your travels, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the lovely surprise of having made yourselves available at the pop-up book signings! What a treat for your friends and fans! Had it not been for that snow and sleet that swept through the northern regions, we so very would have attended! Not only my oldest daughter and myself and a neighbor from England, but my younger daughter who lives in Boston! She too planned to join us . . . had that sleet only held off for a another day!
Thanks Nadine–we are leaving for home tomorrow. A memorable trip.
Lovely to meet you and Meredith at Kramer’s Bookstore. I hope you both enjoyed your stay in Washington. We waved from the massive crowd on the Mall on Monday! And, thank you for signing a bookplate for me. Trusting you had good travels back home and best wishes to you for continued success with your book!
Best regards,
Debra Naylor
Thanks Debra–good to meet you too.
